Indian Affairs/Gaming American Continental Group has a strong understanding of the need to protect tribal sovereignty and the interest of tribal governments. For the past seven years we have worked hard to protect the sovereign rights of Native Americans, as well as representing tribal business enterprises in their endeavors to provide self-sufficient communities for their members. Over the years, we have developed close working relationships with key policy makers within federal agencies as Members of the committees in the House and in the Senate with jurisdiction over tribal issues, including strong relationships within the House Resources Committee and Senate Indian Affairs Committee. ACG is familiar and sensitive to the needs of tribal entities and the gaming facilities that provide a viable source of income with which provides basic needs such as health care, education, and community development. We currently represent the National Indian Gaming Association, as well as the Lytton Band of Pomo Indians in California, and the Stockbridge-Munsee Community in Wisconsin. |
